  No previews been displayed when article link is shared,just the link it self appears with no image or meta description displayed

  Your site sportingfreaks.com is not hosted here on WordPress.com and it uses a self-hosted installation of WordPress.org hosted on Bluehost which is very different (differences .com vs .org).

  Because of those differences, you’ll find better help with your problem in their support forum https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
  I believe the configuration for sharing articles depends on the plugin you are using (if any). I would recommend first checking if everything is right in the configuration, and asking for help in the respective plugin’s forum as recommended here.
