My Site Keeps Disappearing!

I had my domain transferred and masked over to my wordpress.com blog. paid wordpress for domain. domain has been transferred over a week ago

I still get the “WordPress tip: “You’re one step away from using morleyfield.com as your blog address. Click here to activate
    morleyfield.com.”

I expected not to see that. why does it still say that? is my domain transfer complete and correct?

    Then support said….

    Hi Mark,
The domain tip should disappear after it’s shown 5 times. You have a domain mapped, but it’s not set as the default. If you want the domain to be shown in the address bar and to be used for all of your links, go to Settings->Domains and click the link “Put blog here.”

I followed their instructions and now my site is gone!!!!!!!!

    What do I do?

    HELP!!!!!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What is the URL of your former WP.com blog? And what is the actual URL of your new domain; please give us both links starting with http.

Contact staff. The wordpress.com url is redirecting to the morleyfield.com url but nothing is showing.

Yep, this is what I see when I look at the code:

    <html><head><title>MORLEYFIELD.COM</title></head><frameset rows="100%", *" border="0" frameborder="0"><frame src="http://morleyfielddgc.wordpress.com" name="MORLEYFIELD.COM"></frameset></html>

Are you trying to put it in an iframe or something? If not, please report it to staff via the Contact Support button.

There are two parts to domain mapping at WordPress.com: the domain name registration which can be purchased through WordPress.com or through another company and the domain mapping upgrade which must be purchased through WordPress.com. It is possible to purchase a domain name + domain mapping at WordPress.com when you first set it up, however, you cannot transfer a name to WordPress.com from another registrar. To map a domain that you already own and make the WordPress.com domain mapping upgrade work properly, you must update the name servers to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, and NS3.WORDPRESS.COM. It will not necessarily work if you use domain masking, domain forwarding, or some other kind of domain redirect from an outside registrar. Instead, you must update the name servers. We can talk to you about the specifics and get you all setup when you contact support.

I just changed them to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM and NS2.WORDPRESS.COM at network solutions. What happens now?

It looks like it’s working. What did you expect to happen?
