My Site Loses Connection to Server

My site loads intermittently. Both the wp-admin and the site itself. Most of the time it does not have connection to the server. I get “cannot parse response” errors and others about not having a connection.
If I keep refreshing then eventually it will load the page I’m trying to access.I’ve removed all plugins and reinstalled, compressed my images, cleared caches, and been in contact with my host (bluehost) as well.
I was wondering if you all could recommend some things I could try today before waiting on tech support again tomorrow.
I will also say that when trying to download a zip file of my wp-content from my file manager that it acted the same way. It couldn’t compress the file because it would work for 30 seconds maybe then lose connection. Then I would restart the download/compression of the file and it would work for a little bit then fail again.
Thank you all! I’m not the best at this stuff so my terminology is probably not the best to describe my issues.
