My Site > Settings > General: The Google AMP feature
-
The last time I was in my site settings, which was quite a few days ago, I noticed that the AMP feature was switched on. I read a bit more about it and decided I didn’t need this feature, as my customised Twenty Sixteen site loads very quickly anyway on my Win10 smartphone.
I did switch off the AMP button and pressed all the Save Settings blue buttons as well. I got the message telling me my settings were saved.
However, my site now has a theme that isn’t the Twenty Sixteen theme I chose and customised to suit. The theme I see now is quite ugly — extra large text and various items just not sitting right!
Today I went back into the site settings and noticed that this AMP feature had switched itself on again! I have again switched it off, and pressed all the Save Settings buttons, once again, getting the message my settings are saved! Is there a more permanent way to make sure this feature is never turned on again? Dear Happiness Engineers, I hope you can make me happy! Have a great weekend. :)
