My site text turned black !
-
All right, so I have a few plugins installed :
-Above The Fold Optimization
-Akismet
-Fast Velocity Minify
-Jetpack
-Polylang
-Posts Order
-WP deferred javaScript
-and WP Speed of Light ;Now, I haven’t had any problems until today. It seems since Fast Velocity Minify updated, all the text (menus, title, main, etc.) turned black. Which wouldn’t be a problem if the site background wasn’t also black. The weird thing is, when I go to “Customize Appearance” under the dashboard, the text color is defined as white, so it’s gotta be a CSS problem, right ?
The only things I have written in my “Edit CSS” section are :
.site {
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.50);
}body {
color: white !important;
}The second one is to actually be able to see the body of text, otherwise it’s nigh unreadable. It’s also temporary, so I can delete it.
Oh, and I should say the theme is “Twenty Sixteen Child Theme”, downloaded from here :

I’m glad to see that the issue resolved itself here:
In general: A good troubleshooting step for problems with sites hosted outside of WordPress.com is to deactivate your plugins one by one to see if any are the cause of the issue.
As Jen noted on your other thread, the WordPress.org forums will be the best place for you to go to help, if you have further questions:

Thanks!
