My site title and tagline disappeared from my WordPress site. Help!
-
Suddenly, my site title and tagline disappeared from my WordPress site. It has appeared before. I tried clearing my cache and cookies with no success. I tried re-publishing the title and tagline by removing them both, saving the changes, then retyping them both, saving those changes. Also no success. Anyone have any tips here? I’m using the Yoko theme. Thanks!

You didn’t by chance change the text to white? Or select the custom header option that hides the text?
-
Go here > Appearance > Header and make sure you choose to display Header text with the header image on that page.

Hi raincoaster and timethief! I didn’t think I changed the text color or deselect the custom header option “display header text,” but it looks like I did. It’s asking for a color… I’ll figure it out in the “view page source” box since I have no clue what it was originally. Thanks!

What I posted above is what you need to so.
Go here > Appearance > Header
scroll down and select
Header Text
_ Show header text with your image.click
