My site vanished
-
My website ‘www.mousenet.org’ is now ‘not available!’ I can get to the Dashboard, but when I click ‘view’ from there I’m faced with the ‘not available’ message.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I had someone set it up for me so don’t know all the details – bought the domain name from Gobigmedia; pay WordPress.com for domain mapping.
-
Then it’s hosted here, but it’s not https://pbreitrose.wordpress.com. What is your underlying URL? Like, something.wordpress.com?
-
-
It looks like you let domain mapping expire, possibly the domain name as well. Renew that on the dashboard Store page.
-
Dashboard says mousenet.org is due to expire September 2015; shows receipts for my annual payments. (Thanks your your help – I’m off to bed)

Hi pbreitrose,
Could you check with your registrar (Gobigmedia) and make sure your name servers are still mapped correctly? I’m showing your domain hasn’t expired and your domain mapping is fine on this end, but that the domain isn’t pointing to WordPress.com name servers anymore.
Here are some instructions on that in case you need them:

Let me know if you have any more questions or run into any trouble!

Thanks lizthefair – yes, Gobigmedia (now Hyperstreet) had been sending verification requests to a long-dead e-mail address. So it should be sorted out soon.
