my site won't display from different browsers, different pcs

My site zone8recording.com aka zone8recording.wordpress.com is getting a “this site has a redirect loop” error in Chrome, a “This page can’t be displayed” in Explorer and a “this page isn’t redirecting properly” error in Firefox. This is from checking multiple computers in different locations and an android phone. I’ve cleared cache and cookies. The domain is hosted by wordpress, set to renew in July. Thanks in advance for your help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I got site to display (at least) Chrome and Explorer. When the site was not displaying, the primary domain was set to zone8recording.com (which is registered through wordpress.com and is not expired). I selected the zone8recording.wordpress.com as the primary domain and the site started displaying properly. Why is this? Can’t zone8recording.com be my primary domain?

    Hi there,

Yes, you should be able to set zone8recording.com as your primary domain. To fix this, I believe you will just have to remove the extra name servers from your domain through your registrar.

Currently, you have the following name servers in place:

    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns17.domaincontrol.com
    ns18.domaincontrol.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

Please delete all but the following:

    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

Then, try setting your primary domain again.

Let me know if that does the trick!

I went to the store->domains->edit DNS but see nothing to delete. Am I looking in the wrong place?

the page says “This form allows you to add DNS records for this domain. The standard records that make your blog work are not shown” is it possible that what has already been added is not accessible to me via the ui?

    Hi!

Yes, you will need to remove the extra name servers from your registrar, which looks to be GoDaddy. When you log into your GoDaddy account, you should be able to remove the extra name servers and leave only the following:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

Can you give that a try and see if it works?
