My site wont let me update or make chages

  Hi, a couple of years ago I paid a guy to make and manage my own art website for me, which he did using WordPress blog software. He taught me the basics for uploading new info and deleting but he did the rest. About six months ago he died suddenly and now my website will let me login okay but I can’t change anything as it doesn’t let me, just comes up with rows of type. I have limited computer knowledge so is there anyone with some WordPress knowledge who can help or I can pay to help me? – Daniel
