    My site was built by me on WordPress and hosted by siteground- the domain is at go daddy. Anyway, I missed payment to siteground and they wiped site after 30 days. Now I can’t log in on WordPress like it never existed?

    Please note that a WordPress site hosted by other companies is outside of our control at WordPress.com. WordPress sites hosted elsewhere use the free and open-source WordPress.org software. We’re WordPress.com, a separate entity.

    There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

    If your site was hosted by Siteground, you need to contact them for help with this as we wouldn’t be able to help while the site wasn’t hosted by us. Please contact Siteground support and see if they are able to recover the site for you. They might have a backup of the site for you if you restart your subscription with them.

    If I may recommend, you can use Jetpack Backup on your WordPress.org site. This gives your site the option to back up your site regularly so even if your host deletes your site due to missed payments, you’d have the entire site backed up ready to be restored.
