  Do I need a wordpress.com if I have my own domains via jetpack? My sites are now visible via the jetpack. I originally was recreating the site name on wp.com because I was hoping to bring my site posts in via a feed, until I found out I could do this via jetpack. So now, my sites are all appearing in my account. Do I need the wp.com site in order for my multisites to be there, or can I delete the wp.com site? It is empty except for a cover image, and I don’t need it now that my sites are visible here. Thanks.

  Hello,

  you do not need the active website on WordPress.com in order to connect the self-hosted websites to the account.
