Hi, i found out how to set up sign in / sign up an account on my site but it is using the wordpress accounts which i do not want. I am wondering if it is possible to make a registrations page for creating accounts that are unique to my site and separate from wordpress

Hi! The accounts via WordPress.com setting can indeed be switched off; it’s part of our Secure Sign-On feature. You can get to it from Settings > Security; although please note when you do switch that off you may also need to reset your own “administrator” password for your site as it isn’t linked to your WordPress.com account password.
