MY SLIDESHOW STOPPED WORKING ON ALL PAGES

    I have several pages with a slideshow. They all have stopped working. I tried loading 2 pictures last night and then noticed that the slideshow was not working. Not sure if it was not working prior to loading the new pictures or not. any suggestions?

    The slideshow on the front page of your blog is working. I’m using Firefox 9. Are you referring to another slideshow located somewhere else in the blog? If so please provide a link to the page or post it’s in. If you are referring to the one on the front page then please try clearing your browser cache and cookies.

    I cleared the history, temp files, and cookies. I also updated flash player. All of the slideshows seem to work but they will only show 2 – 3 frames and then freeze again. All of the Trophy room slide shows and the map tab have this problem. Also, I noticed that when I try to load a new picture, the window that has the browser button is so far down and to the right, that I cannot see it all. When I try to scroll down, the page behind it scrolls, not the window I am in. So I cannot do anything but browse for a new picture.

    I can clearly see using Firefox 9 what you cannot see. That means you need to undertake some troubleshooting. Will you please provide us with some details so we can try to help you?

    1. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. It sounds like there could be a problem with your ISP. Can you access any of these directly?

    2. Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/ Try using the opposite.

    3. Exactly which browser and version of it are you using?

    6. Do you have third party cookies enabled?

    I am using Charter cable via IE and Fox Fire. I have upgraded IE to 8 and
    Foxfire as well. Same results. Yes, I can access all 3 links.
    I use http…could not find personal settings via your instructions on the
    dashboard.
    Was using IE …not sure of version but updated to 8 and same results. Same
    results with Foxfire
    Yes, I have cleared my cookies
    Browser version is up to date now.
    I did have 3rd party cookies enabled but disabled them. No difference
    Yes, Java Script is enabled
    No, no other browser
    Flash player is up to date

    Same problem still exists.

    Problem solved! I updated JAVA and restarted my PC and that seemed to fix the problem. Thanks for all of your help!
