my static pages are still displaying blog-stuff at the bottom

Static pages are still displaying blog-stuff at the bottom.
Instead of just displaying the text in the page, they also display a “Leave a reply” box and an invitiation to post a comment.
How do I get rid of this? I’ve tried your tips for adding pages and putting all posts in a separate page.
If you log onto to the website you’ll see what I mean. Every static page (and all my pages are static, for now) looks like a blog.

Pages, like posts, can also display the comment form. If you’d like to disable comments on your pages, you can do so via the Discussion module on the Page Edit page.
