  Question: If I go to my blog, from my desktop, before logging in, does this show in my stats as a visitor?

  Yes if your blog is public and you visit your blog while logged out your visit & page views will be counted until you log in – but if you log in from your home page the single visit should not distort the stats much unless you have a very low traffic blog

  PS: Like your blog. I sail out of Sausalito and appreciate boat safety. The channel in Sausailto is a challenge, for sure, with tourists kayaking, ferries, commercial fishing boats, and other. Lots to discuss.
