My stats changed

  Hi WordPress Support, after I login today I notied that numbrs on my stats had changed, the visits on my busiest day were 83 on March the 1st, and they’ve been changed to 70. Can you possibly explain me what happened? Also the visit to a single post pass from more than 70 to less than 40.. The system found some mistakes and corrected them?
  I’d like to know, the stats are an interesting tool but they need to be reliable otherwise they become useless.. Please help me to understand.
