My stats go up and down

My stats keep going up and down. Sometimes I see my page view go up. Sometimes it dips back down to 129. This happens while new people are commenting and sharing and I’ve seen it happen across multiple devices.

As I’m sure you know, stats will vary widely based on the consistency of your posts and the number of places your posts are shared and publicized. I just took a look at your stats and while I’m seeing a lot of variation recently, it looks like in general your averages are on the way up!

The recent dip is probably explained by the increased traffic from your post on Fred Phelps being Freshly Pressed!

Sorry, I should’ve been more specific. I meant daily stats were rising and falling on the same day. I’d refresh my page and an hour later there’d be a dip in the view counter, then it would go up again. It’s stopped doing it since, but it was weird to see it go back and forth like that.
