My Stats page not refreshing visitors

My stats show 1 visitor and 48 views, from 6 countries.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have had the same problem all day as well. Shows over 100 views, but only 2 visitors from 3 different parts of the world. Not the first time either.

That’s not a big deal and this is why. Our stats are not real time stats. For details see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/ and note the views and viewers take hours to update.

Maybe its just our moms clicking a lot to make us feel better about having terrible blogs.

I have read the link above, but to me it’s total bull. Every day I have had visitor-stats that is related to the view-stats. Some days it’s just completely off. So I don’t buy the whole “views and viewers takes hours to update” story.

This has happened before and was a known technical issue. It has nothing to do with stats not being real time. When it gets resolved, the visitor count gets corrected. Last time it took almost the entire day to get fixed.

Your blog is new and gets so few views daily that there are no Alexa stats on it yet http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/pengerspart.wordpress.comBTW I blogged for many years and have answered support questions here for nearly 8 years. I note that new bloggers are often stats obsessed and often claim about their stats are being incorrectly recorded when in fact they aren’t.

All you say might be pretty true.. but I’ve got multiple comments from different IP’s but still only one visitor.. math doesn’t add up. What your saying is true though.. especially in my case, stats aren’t life/death.
