My stats remain on visitors: 0 and views: 0

On my page I get notifications that people are liking my page and then for some reason the “likes” don’t show up on the stats page until the next day. Which throws off the views and other totals. It all started happening about four days ago.

Over the past few days I have received email alerts of almost a hundred new users subscribing to my site but my stats page says that I’ve only had 2 views in the past week(ish).
I am wondering how this is possible? Are some of my stats missing or is it just taking a long time for the new users to be added?
I’ve been searching for a while for an answer to this question and I can’t seem to come up with one. Any help would be appreciated.

As of today I have had no hits on my site, but I uploaded a new blog post today and know it has been accessed several times.

I am encountering the same issue. Have done some controlled tests. It appears there is a script running through some of the default WordPress templates that is causing the page to not load completely. When the page loads completely, a “hit” is recorded. But if the page does not, no hit is recorded. I can replicate the issue through testing.

Hi there I am having issues as well the blog is katzenworld.co.uk (http://www.katzenworld.wordpress.com) stats appear to have stopped working at about 7 pm.
I published a new post which has already received a nice amount of likes and the stats show no views? Also total viewer numbers hasn’t moved since about the same time… And I can see people are commenting and liking. :(

And my stats are MIA as well. I am noticing the slider at the top of the blog is taking forever to load; this could be related, as caswain01 says.

My vistor and view count hasn’t changed recently even though I asked someone from the USA to check out my blog and I have also viewed the blog from a browser not signed in and nothing has changed. The hourly graph in the admin bar is now showing my hits (and retroactively) but the main stat page still is not counting them. Just an update.

I too am having an issue. I know there have been numerous visits from my bit.ly links, yet my stats have frozen and are not acknowledging any visits to my new blog post today.

I am also having this issue. No stats updating since about 7am.

I am experiencing the same stats issue right now. As soon as my last post was published, about an hour ago, stats just stop updating. I see there are viewers via other app, and I also receive comments and all but on stats page the certain post doesn’t exist and viewers count is the same as before post was published.

My stats also are not updating. At this time of the day they should be considerably higher than they are.

My stats indeed took a rather large dip on 9 January, and have remained 20-30% below the average of the previous several weeks, but I hadn’t suspected a malfunction until my hourly stats showed zero visitors for the past 3+ hours. This just never happens unless there is a malfunctioning of the data collection or reporting, as occurred in early December 2014.

Experiencing the same issue of very few hits showing for the past three hours. Also there are visitors that I know have visited but whose hits and referral sources aren’t showing.
