Same problem here for two days: no views for a few hours, then apparently stats restored all of a sudden. Then again…

Views are counted (one hundred every day more or less), visitors aren’t. So most of the time it seems that only 1 person (or zero, the ghost) is clicking 100 times on the post;
the 2nd problem, as I already told you too, (0 views, 0 stats for few hours a day) is ongoing.
I keep reading of people sharing these issues.
Could you please acknowledge the problem and say few words to us? Like: we’re working on it, we will work on it in few days, we are thinking about it, etc.? I’m starting to feel weird as I keep telling you the same things over and over. Thanks. -

I spot-checked a handful of sites from this thread, and it seems like the stats are back up and running again. If you’re experiencing trouble (like a day with 0 views/visitors), please reply back with the following:

I don’t see any day on your stats page that is currently registering 0 views. Could you let me know what date you’re referring to?
We’re certainly not ignoring your request! I’m just not seeing the issues you’re seeing.

I’ve been having the very same issue. However I would like my blog address to remain as much hidden as possible, and since the few people who have access to it are not WordPress users, I can’t make it private.
Yesterday night, 12.Jan.15, I went to sleep with 1 visitor, 7 views, Canada. However around 3 am today, the stats from yesterday marked 2 visitors, 14 views, Canada. So the stats are updating extremely slow. But now I just visited it from iPad, from Paris, and it instantly marked 22 views.
Also on 3Jan15, a friend visited my site from London, but it was never registered.
Another thing is that although I published 3 articles yesterday, 12Jan15, stats show I only published two.
Stats have either been inaccurate, either so slow. It has been so since first I noticed it, on 3Jan15.
Is there also a problem with how pages are counted ? I have indefinite scroll, so would it also boost pageviews ?
I can’t give you the site address here, but I can communicate it via private email. I would appreciate any help you could give me.

My problem is back – My blog stats had zero views, referrers, search engines etc…when the stats counter started all over again past midnight in my time zone. But when I look at my Live Feedjt, I could see quite a few visitors landing on my blog – about 20 of them during the time between 12.01 am and 12.10 am.
Now, at 12.45am, I am seeing 31 views.
Yesterday, I had extremely low blog stats for the first 10 hours of the day, but that got rectified and I got back my usual daily traffic.

My stats are also not updating in real time correctly. According to the site stats, my most recent post has nearly 5k views via Facebook over the past 48 hours, but if you just look at the blog the post itself, only shows around 500 FB vies. Site is: https://anthrolactology.wordpress.com

I’ve also had some odd stats problems. 24 hours ago, I had 0 visitors and views for the day, and that was 2 1/2 hours into the day, yet I’d had some likes and comments. Tonight, I am getting view and visit counts increasing, but it seems that the views for my most recent post are not showing up at all, yet I have comments and likes on that post. My blog is:

And I have the same problem again. As off 18.00 (Dutch time) my stats are very slow. Very irritating!

I still don’t think the page is loading properly. If it takes too long, a page view won’t be recorded. Yesterday, I noticed that my gravatar at the top of my Chrome tab flashed a few seconds after loading. It is still doing that today. I added an offsite stat counter yesterday which shows there are more people stopping by than are counted by WP.

Dear Happiness Engineer, sorry, I’m sure my English is lacking and I’m trying my best, but:
1) you see views and visitors on the post we’re talking, that’s right, but from a certain date (many months ago) you don’t see not ALL the visitors. Actually, you don’t see anyone of them. These visitors are not recorded. Clicks on this post are counted and spreaded on the other visitors, so we’ve 3/4/5 etc. total views per visitor, when the correct number is 1,…
I thought to delete the post or to make it private for a while, but sincerely I fear a similar “bug” will get another one. Then I started thinking to delete the blog, too. Actually I keep writing for help, but I’m getting tired of it.
2) Stats page register 0 views and 0 visitors for few hours EVERY SINGLE DAY. Then, around 7.00 am, stats start running again.
If you don’t see anything wrong, ok, don’t mind anymore, I don’t know how to explain the issues more and better than I have already done. Thanks again. -
@lunanuvola – please don’t delete anything – that will not solve anything – this seems to be some sort of site wide problem – not just your blog

Stats for yesterday appear to have been restored, but very low traffic again this morning, plus several hits that I know of from other sites that are not showing either in visitor count or in referrals.

It seemed this morning the stats had caught up,but now they are running way behind again — there is obviously a software glitch in the WordPress Stats program. A link to my latest post was shared on Facebook and got plenty of hits there, but so far none have registered on the WP stat page.
