My stylesheet is completely missing in the notes file.

    I have the twentyten theme and have lost my custom header and background images. I have tried a number of suggestions for this but have had no luck. Is it possible that the missing stylesheet is the problem? If so, how do I get it back?

    I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Unfortunately, this isn’t the right WordPress forum to help with your lost images problem. This forum is for blogs hosted here on WordPress.com. There’s another forum for WordPress blogs like yours that are hosted elsewhere. The problems that users have (and the solutions) are usually quite different which is why the two forums are separate. Please repost your question at: https://wordpress.org/support/

    If you don’t have a username at that forum, you’ll need to register before posting.

    Thanks for your reply. More confusion, though. Since my blog has a .com in the URL doesn’t that mean that I made it with wordpress.com??

    No that’s not relevant. It’s the software and where it is hosted that is relevant.
