According to your account’s logs you have been subscribed to that site for the past 8 month. I checked our email logs and we have sent out several email notifications for that site during the past few days. In fact, an email was sent out for every recently published post on that site except for the three most recent posts, and those posts were published between when you had set your notification settings to block all WordPress.com emails 22 hours ago, and when you had re-confirmed your subscription 15 hours ago. Outside of that window all subscription emails were sent.
If you did not receive those notifications, the problem is on Gmail’s end. I notice @timethief asked if you used Gmail and you said no, but you do have a Gmail address connected to your account. Gmail automatically filters emails that come from us, so you need to go look for the missing emails in those filters, as explained here:

I never set my notifications to block. I went in and saw that that was indeed the case, but it was not done by myself. Yes, I have gmail; I misunderstood when I was told about apps which I do not use.

Your account logs show that you changed the setting to block all emails, and then unblocked them a few minutes later. If it was not you it was someone logged in as you, as the logs show your username took that action.

Next time this happens, let us know without re-subscribing to the site. According to our logs all emails for that site have gone out, except for the four between emails being blocked and you re-subscribing, so there is no evidence of anything being broken. We’ll need to check your account while you are not receiving emails to check this.

According to what I see in your account you are still subscribed to receive email notifications from https://ysbookreviews.wordpress.com/. Nothing has changed in the past 5 days in your subscription status on that site.
The notification for the most recent posts on that site, Animals and Sandra Brown, was sent to your email address two hours ago and A Parade of Puppies was sent 20 hours ago. If you did not receive those emails, it’s either in spam or Gmail has filtered it. We don’t have control over that. We can only control whether the email is sent, and they are being sent.
Please try searching Gmail for “wordpress.com” That should turn up the emails you are missing. If you can’t find them, you might need to contact Gmail support.
