My Syndication Feed Is An Issue…
-
I have shared another website’s URL on my blog. The owner of the site contacted me saying that there have been adjustments to his site, and he says that my information was tagged as if I had done it. He also said that there was another blog attached, http://www.christiansanonymous.info. I have attempted to contact that blog because they are a WordPress.org blog, not WordPress.com. They have no contact information. However, they apparently have had an issue with people being unhappy with their actions before, because there was a nice section that explained how it was my fault they had access to my posts (they’ve been posting them on their own site). They said that I have given them access by not adjusting my syndication feed. They say that I can keep this from happening by changing my syndication feed to 0. When I try to do that, however, it won’t let me. How come? Can I not change my syndication feed to 0? Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi John,
I believe you’re referring to adjusting your feed here to a value of “0” (default “10”):
https://singleeyepress.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php
Is that correct? If so, you cannot adjust that value to less than one. However, can you point me to where on the site (http://www.christiansanonymous.info) that your posts are appearing? Having posts in your feed shouldn’t allow anyone else permission to copy and paste the posts as their own.

Thanks for getting back to me; I really appreciate it!
Yeah, I discovered through research that there was no way to adjusting the feed to 0. I just made it so that there was a summary shown and not the full text. That's helped a little.
This blog is still taking my material and posting on their site, even if it's only two or three sentences. Here are the links to the two pages that I could find with my name, a link to my WordPress, and my material:

As you can see, there is no link except to the “Home” page. The only other thing is the word “Copyright” which takes you to the definition of the word for legal purposes, I'm guessing. There's not even a way to contact anybody associated with this website.
Clearly, however, the article says, “By John Peter”, and yet it also says “By: Christians Anonymous”. I would report them, but from what I gather you guys can't do anything if it's a WordPress.org site.
So, do you have any recommendations for me as to what I can do to keep this site from downloading my content?
If you have any further questions, by the way, please reach out to me.

Hey John,
I’m looking at this particular example:
http://www.christiansanonymous.info/christ-contemplations-august-4th-2012/
In that example, they list you as the source with a link to your post and list you as the author of that post (By John Peter). This is a pretty common form of linking across the web and could be considered “fair use” of your content.
As you mentioned, the blog is not hosted at WordPress.com. We do have some recommendations here but the takedown request wouldn’t be through us:

Please let me know if you need anything else!

That’s what I figured. Not a problem. I feel better now that I’ve shorten my posts to “Summary” anyway. It will force those who are interested to come directly to my blog. Thanks again for all of your assistance!
