My tagline is showing up wrong when a preview of my site appears

  I made a spelling error on my tagline when I changed up my blog today. I finally caught it and fixed it.

  However, if I put my link on Facebook, for example, and it shows the preview of my site, just may title and tagline, it is still showing the spelling error.

  Any tips?

  Depends on how often Facebook updates such things. Have you tried deleting it from Facebook, and adding it again a bit later?

  Flush your Facebook cache. This will not retroactively change previous posts, but it will change new ones. https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

  My husband shared the link too and it did the same thing and he was using a mobile device versus a computer.

  Does that change things?

  No. Facebook has stored the old, incorrect spelling. You have to flush the FB cache and then it will get the correct spelling.
