my tags aren’t showing?? help! what’s wrong!!

hey when i tried clicking on some of my tags it keeps saying there are no blogs with those tags!! is it a temp tech glitch happening? or is there something i should be worried about?

Can we have a link to your blog? And is your blog an adult blog or does each post have dozens of tags which can get it kicked off the global tag page.

in the latest blogs my tags aniche, aniche unleashed etc are not working
i have previously tagged over a dozen of my posts with the tag aniche which it has shown also so i don’t know what’s wrong really.
And i thought tags could be many since if u use new words made up words and stuff tags would have to be there for them as well. -
even a tag “butterscotchism” a word i made up and a word on which a whole post is based is not coming up with any results now. what’s wrong. the normal tags like humor are working but i’m totally bummed.someone help me!! would i have to contact support??

Since it’s not an adult blog, it might be because of too many tags. I’ve read the forum for the past few months and that’s happened to some people. But try contacting support or wait and see if they spot this post.

well i have contacted support but it would be a shame if they have some policy about not allowing tags that aren’t real words or something of that sort. cuz i make up words all the time.

That’s called tag spam; using waaaaaaaaaay to many tags in hopes of grabbing every tag surfer in the universe. There is a rule against it and it will indeed get you booted from the global tag pages.
Staff have said several times that twelve is pretty much the maximum that is acceptable for a single post, either as tags or categories or a combination. A total of no more than twelve.

Not exactly true that 12 tags will get you booted from tag pages. Individual posts with too many tags (or cats or both) are automatically excluded. The exact value of “too many” is a closely guarded secret (we keep it with the herbs and spices), but it’s more than 12. Regularly misusing tags to the extent that it annoys people and draws a bunch of complaints might get your blog booted.
I believe this particular blog is marked Mature.

Perhaps you should deal with support directly for further guidance. There might indeed be more vulgar blogs which haven’t been marked — or reported — but I must say your amalgam of tags strike me as both vulgar and prime candidates for a mature designation, imo.
Still giggling, though, that testicles is capitalized.

Well, Testicles was a very important Greek philosopher; at least, his works are where all my exes got their philosophy!
If your blog is marked mature you’ll need to deal directly with staff. Deleting tags won’t have any effect in that case; the Mature issue is more critical.
