My text is broken up, can't edit pictures

    This hasn’t really happened to me before. The post I just finished looks great on the editing page, but whenever I preview it I see that the first line of some of my paragraphs are cut off and are located next to a picture, and the rest of the paragraph is below the picture, whereas I would like the whole paragraph to be below the picture. I’ve tried doing everything, in both the visual and text version of the post, and I’ve tried to edit the pictures (to see if that was the problem), but the icon in the corner of the pictures that lets you edit them doesn’t show up. Help is appreciated.

    I haven’t had a problem with text but the editing icon that used to appear in the picture no longer appears. I went back to older posts that the picture had been edited via the icon route and the icon no longer appears in those pictures. Something has changed in the last week.
