My theme is not showing up when I go to my website.

The theme is free and I selected it, my friend went on my blog and it just looked like any regular blog site no theme what so ever. I want my blog to look appealing ! ugh help is any one going through this difficulty ?

I’m sorry to hear you are having difficulty applying a theme. What theme is it you are trying to apply?
Once you arrive at a theme explanation page, please make sure you are pressing “Activate this design”. Once you press this button, it should give you an option to either go back to the explanation page or move to your site to edit it. The “Activate this design” button on the explanation page should now say “Customize site”. Are you able to walk through these processes with no problem?

A search in these forums shows others with a self-hosted site and a Jetpack plugin have had similar issues to that which you have described. If that is the case with you, too, then the Jetpack support page may be the best place to go to, too.
