My theme is 'retired'. If I choose a new one, will my old blogs change?

I haven’t blogged in awhile. I returned with a burning passion, wrote a frenzied blog only to find that it would not post. Further research shows that the theme had expired and I need to choose a new one. When I do this (as apparently I must), will it change the look of my older blogs?

Yes, it will. But the theme being retired shouldn’t change your ability to post at all. In fact, you can still use the theme, but it might become buggy over time as it is not maintained.
