My titles are not visible
-
Hello, I am using the sela theme. My titles (blog and posts titles) have suddenly “disappeared” (I don’t know how to make them visible again)…
Thanks for your help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks!! Still a long way to go though! Having a hard time to understand how everything works.
For example, I managed to assign a static front page. However, the ‘Posts page’ I have chosen to display my blog posts on the front page (in my case, ‘Crónicas’) does NOT appear (but in the theme demo it does)… Any idea why?
As for the widgets, it seems I can only put them in the main side bar or the footer widget area, but not in the front page area (if you see the demo, I would like to have it the same).
Thanks for your help, it would be very much appreciated!
Cheers!

You have two choices on any blog
(1) All posts on the front page.
(2) A static front page and posts on a different page.By default the front page of your blog displays all published posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. That is for the convenience of your returning visitors who will not be happy to have to click through an About page every time they visit your blog as they come to read your most recently published content. Creating that situation can make some visitors annoyed – so annoyed that they stop following your blog.
However, if you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for all published posts (not pages) to display on in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top.
To do that create two pages first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change for each of the two page and click “save changes”.
A static page (select below)

Go to the detailed theme description page https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sela/
Scroll down toWidget Areas
Sela offers seven widget areas:
Main Sidebar appears on the right in blog view and on pages, using the default template.
Three optional footer widget areas.
Three optional widget areas on the Front Page Template. As a bonus, Sela comes with a special design for the Milestone http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/milestone-widget/ and Gravatar Profile widgets.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/gravatar-profile-widget/

That’s what I’ve done. For the time being, my static front page should be “Home” and I’ve put for “posts page” my page called “crónicas” in order to have my latest blog entries appear on my front page but nothing has changed…

I’ve spent hours reading the sela theme page and have done what was told, but it seems I’m doing it wrong because my ‘Posts page’ won’t appear and the widgets do not appear as they do in the theme demo.

Hi there,
I’ve spent hours reading the sela theme page and have done what was told, but it seems I’m doing it wrong because my ‘Posts page’ won’t appear and the widgets do not appear as they do in the theme demo.
I checked your Crónicas page and I see your blog posts there:
https://deltaylor.wordpress.com/cronicas-2/
I looked for widgets, but there aren’t any widgets added to your site. You can add them from your site’s Customizer, in the Widgets section there.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
