My titles have been reformatted and moved, and not by me. How to change back?

    Using customized Matala theme.

    Suddenly any headline that’s not actually a “post” is in little tiny letters at the bottom left-hand corner of my posts (quotes, “asides”, etc.), which makes my posts even more nonsensical than I originally made them.

    I didn’t make that change myself, and just discovered it today. How can I change it back without actually recategorizing all my posts into “posts”? I would like my chosen headlines to remain headlines. The different post formats were one of the reasons I chose the Matala theme…

    I just got a message that I actually need to add some content. I did, above. This is my question!

    While I’m at it, I’ve just spent at least half an hour looking for an answer to this question on my own, with different key words, and typing the same question into boxes three times. I think better indexing is in order, and it would be nice if I could automatically copy my question into any subsequent “re-question” boxes. (I intelligently copied my text before moving on, but I shouldn’t have to think of that.)

    Howdy,

    With the Matala thteme, there hasn’t been any changes to it for some time and none that should have changed the behavior of the title from what I can tell.

    In this case, the designer opted to have a strong headline for standard posts while minimizing it for other post formats.

    Thanks for the suggestion; I’ll add it to our list as we work on improving the forums and our support pages.

    So where should I look for the quickest way to convert all my other posts from quotes and asides into quotes?

    Sure.

    Visit your list of posts to edit at https://jazzsoup42.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php

    Then, either check the posts you’d like to change or the box at the top for all of them, then choose the “Bulk Actions” and choose “Edit”, then “Apply”. (See this screenshot to make that a ton less confusing: http://d.pr/i/aN7t )

    Once you click Apply, the Bulk Editor is shown. You can mass-change all of the post formats, then click Update. Another screenshot:http://d.pr/i/1AN6
