My tumblr import

  It’s been now more than 24h that I started the import and nothing.I don’t even know if it started in fact because the count stay at zero. I have an import of more than 35000 posts, and it stay at zero.it is because there is too much post that it doesn’t work or even started?

  Hi copgirl,

  I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it.

  We’re processing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run for the next 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.

  I don’t think I’m deconnected from tumblr but I don’t know anymore, the import is still at zero and the deconnect button is there and I didn’t click on it.so it’s mean it ‘s still on right?

  Yes, I received the same message yesterday. 48 hours have gone and still no progress.

  Thank you for responding @galois .I have another question. is the computer have to be on for 24h or more?because I didn’t disconnect the tumblr button here.but I have to sleep sometimes and shutdown my computer.So is it considered a disconnection?

  It appears that the import for your site is currently running, so it will hopefully complete soon.

  yes it has started but apparently still running? can you confirm that? I have 3185 imported over 35473 in the import section , so is it still on or the program can’t import more? because I have the message saying “in progress”….

  @copgirl the importer had stopped, so it may have already finished. But if you find you’re missing posts, you’re welcome to go ahead and start it again.

  Noting you have about 1GB out of 3GB of space left. If you are missing quite a few posts with images, I’d recommend upgrading prior to trying to import again, so you’ll have room for all of your media.
