my twenty eleven theme does not show "featured image" on my pages?

  why does my twenty eleven theme not act the same way as mentioned by many other users. for example my feautured image on my pages don’t show up or are under the banner rather than the main header image. Ive have read that people have had sucess making different banner style images on each of their pages. this sounds great but why can’t I achieve it with my twenty eleven theme. thanks for your time

  Hi there,

  To use an image as your header image it needs to be at least 1000 pixels wide. I noticed, for example, that the featured image you have set on your photography page is only 432 pixels wide.
