My two Blogs are linked together. How to Sepatare them?

  Hi all, I started a new blog called https://theidealcopy.wordpress.com/
  It seems to be another another site, crashpadthemovie.wordpress.com which is a site I set up for a filmmaker friend of mine. It seems my blog is “under” their blog and every time I write something, my post is under the author “Crashpad 520”. Also when I go to “my sites” the ideal copy is not there.

  I can only access the ideal copy site, by tying in the web address to get there. In the meantime, I cannot do anything to change the settings. I want to start over again, but I want to keep the name “the ideal copy”. How do I reassign the name to another blog?

  Whoever registered the blog under their username account has to transfer the blog to you. The email address registered with your WordPress.com username account is your unique identifier. Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and their associated email address.

  The blog’s owner must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them, or to transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account, or to use the lost password link, or the account recovery form, or to delete site content, or to delete the site itself.

  Additional information: If you want to leave a WordPress.COM blog you have been made an official user of by way of invitation then you can use the leave a blog option. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#leave-a-blog

  You will, of course, have to be logged in under the exact same username account that was added to the blog as a user https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/

  Thanks, Time Thief!
  I cleared out the cache and signed in under my username (not my email address. The blog appeared there. I have two different usernames and signed in using my email account. All is well now.
