My upgrade to Word Press Premium
-
HI. I just upgraded to Word Press Premium so I could add videos. However, when I try to add a video I continue to get an error message that tells me this is not possible. How do I fix this?

What is the file type of the video you are trying to upload and what does the warning say when you try?
You may, if you haven’t already, look through the support document on VideoPress. File types are listed in the frequently asked questions section: http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/

The warning I get is this:
“Error 093.MTS
This file type is not allowed. Please try another.”
I, perhaps wrongly, assumed this meant just trying to add any video wasn’t going to work.
I’m not too savvy when it comes to different file types and videos, etc. The most information I could find was that the file is “AVCHD video.” It’s from my digital camera.
I’ll check out the link you posted. Thank you. -
You are welcome. You may have to convert your videos over to one of the accepted formats. You may be able to do that from the video editing software that came with your camera, or is available for download from the camera manufacturer.
