  image cropping automatically .
  I’m looking at showing some of my art online and the cropping is rendering the images incomplete in Gravatar.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  While having a gravatar is a good thing in general, it is not a substitute for having a full website.

  Since you signed up for one robertmiles1.wordpress.com you may as well use it. Once you set up your website (http://learn.wordpress.com/ is the place to get started), you can link to it in your gravatar profile.
