my uploaded pictures are to big

    hi my uploaded pictures are to big when people click on them. This was not the way it used to be for years. It started last week. How can I fix this. or is this just another ‘ wait for another update problem’ please help

    Hi @jtheear9,

    I just looked over your site, where is it that you’re having difficulty with the sizing of the photos? I’ve just gone through your site and the photos I’ve clicked on don’t look huge.

    ?????? Thanks for checking….. I must have communicated wrong. I just checked my pictures and they are fine…. unless you click on them….. then the photos are presented as too large and you can not see the whole picture just large parts of them.. I just checked many different pictures, like maps and so on… this is still a problem for me. It used to work fine for years, but last week it started to have problems. please advise….thanks

    The images that are showing up as a full page are 2,835×1689 pixels versus others you have posted previously which are 501×377 pixels or about that.

    To change the size of the posted photos you need to log into your WP Admin editor by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s url (e.g.: example.wordpress.com/wp-admin).

    Find the post you want to edit from the visual editor of a post or page. To do this click on an image in the Visual Editor. You’ll see a popup appear where you can edit the alignment, the size, and the caption, or remove the image from the post or page.

    I can’t answer why it just changed for you. Perhaps you can have staff contact you,add “modlook” to the tags for this forum post and someone will look at it.

    Thanks I tried your suggestion on two pictures and the results were same. For some reason wordpress changed the magnification or the way my pictures are viewed. They have been up since 2014. I will try and contact their tech staff. thanks
