My URL won't change?

My URL won’t change- I tried to change it to clisare.wordpress.com and it refuses to, even though it’s telling me in settings that that is my URL.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

clisare.wordpress.com is no longer available.

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

Then you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

But I didn’t delete that URL, I changed my URL to it and it currently says that that’s my URL in the settings but it won’t work as you see above and can still only find my blog through my old URL.

The data under My Blogs takes ages to update.

I wish I could send you a screenshot but it says clisare.wordpress.com under ‘web address’ in my blog’s settings. It has done for 10-12 weeks now.

Is the blog at dorajustexplorin.wordpress.com the same blog that used to be at clisare.wordpress.com?

You already had a blog at clisare.wordpress.com that is now deleted. You cannot now associate that address with the site at dorajustexplorin.wordpress.com.
If you wish, you can register a custom domain for dorajustexplorin.wordpress.com:
Alternately, you can change the blog name doe dorajustexplorin.wordpress.com to something else that has not been used previously.

But I didn’t? I changed my blog to clisare.wordpress.com and it didn’t work. I changed it back and now I’m trying to change it again. I didn’t ever have a wordpress blog with the URL clisare. It never worked when I tried to change it.

There is no back and forth changing it comes to URLs.

Well then I never changed it in the first place which explains why it never worked.
This is my problem – It won’t let me change it the way you’ve sent me, says it already exists. It is successfully saved under ‘web address’ on the account options page, which could be why. However, I can still only access blog through dorajustexplorin. -
Because the address clisare.wordpress.com exists in our system as a separate (and now deleted) blog, it cannot be used in the blog name change tool. You will need to choose something else.

I don’t understand how it could exist as a seperate blog. ‘Clisare’ is my brand, it’s across all my media. I need them to match.
