My videos won't upload from Vimeo

  We have never had a problem uploading from Vimeo before today. Now for some reason, we can’t.

  Howdy.

  Did you try saving or publishing the post and then checking the preview?

  I just tried to embed a Vimeo video on my WordPress.com site as a test, and although it wasn’t showing up in the visual editor (as it should), it did show up on the preview of the post after saving. It worked with both the shortcode and the full Vimeo address.

  Here’s some more information on how the embeds are supposed to work, in case you’re not familiar with the shortcode method.

  Thanks for the tip. Looking into some other possibilities around Theme updates. In the meantime I’m using a workaround and posting from You Tube.
