My viewers that I invited to my private blog cant login without a username?!

  My viewers that I invited to my private blog can´t login without a username. What? They have the correct password I gave them, but apparently not the right username. What username is that?! How do they get it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  They need to CREATE one. They need to create a WP.com account so that WordPress can tell they are the right people.

  You can’t just password-protect an entire blog at WP.com. That’s not secure and it’s not an option here.

  Ok, thanks. I´ll tell them to create a username.

  The password I´m using on my private posts are with pictures on my children. Is that not safe?
