Yes. But it has to went through paypal for me to pay. Why not just directed to my visacard?

I’ve checked the earlier failed payment logs and I’m not seeing anything blocking from our end. In other words, we weren’t declining the cards. That means you’d need to contact your card issuer to find out why the payments may have been declined by their end. They will have more information about this.

Why can’t I use the domain name?
What do you mean by that? If you’re trying to use your custom domain as a primary address for your WordPress.com site, then you’d need a paid plan for that.

My point exactly. So even I buy a domain on other sites I still have to upgrade to business or premium to use it on wordpress, right? Doubling the cost. What a business model.

You can request a refund in your purchase history within 96 hours of purchase.
Refund transactions generally take 7-10 days for the credit to be processed by your payment provider and show back up in your account.
