My visitor counter has stopped working! How do I get it to start counting again

  My visitor counter is not counting properly

  How do you know it’s not working? Perhaps you’ve had no visits. ‘Likes’ on your posts can come from other places, like the Reader, and no visit to your blog is required for that.

  I know it’s not working because I received over 500 comments from my blog in my e-mail and the counter is showing that I only received 25 or so!

  Were they all genuine comments or spam comments? Also, as with the ‘likes’, people can comment and do not need to visit your blog.

  No there not spam, they are people responding to my posts.
