My webpages cannot be opened in China. If I upgrade to a custom domain,can open?

    My web pages cannot be opened in Mainland China. If I upgrade my current web address, patricksiu.wordpress.com, to a custom domain name, do you think that people in China can open my webpages. My webpages are about Chinese Fine Art, it is important that they can be viewed in China.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    China has been known to block WordPress.com blogs, and there is nothing that WordPress.com can do about this. As a workaround, you can try using a VPN or proxy to access the site.

    If having visitors from China is a priority for your site, and having your readers rely on VPNs and Tor isn’t an option, moving your content to a self-hosted site is a way to keep it available.
