I am new and just created domain name few days ago W godaddy. Started to make website/blog with them but friend told me to go with WordPress and won’t be changed is that correct?

Hi- Thanks for providing me the information. What is confusing me is I started with Godaddy and don’t want to continue with it now as they will charge me for the website.
Do you know how to cancel the one with Godaddy? Also, does WordPress have a chat room?

Hi- I was not asking for information on how to manage the GoDaddy purchases. I was confused about the difference between the two different websites. I did manage to figure that out though and found out that GoDaddy supports both. It does get a bit confusing when just starting out.
