  You have the choice of transferring or connecting your domain to wordpress.com please read this document for more information https://wordpress.com/support/domain-connection-vs-domain-transfer/

  You do need a plaid plan to be able to use your domain on wordpress.com here is a price list of the plans https://wordpress.com/pricing/
