  When I try to sign up for google adsense, they come back with the y cannot access my website?

  Since you are self-hosting, you’re talking about WordPress.ORG. (This is WordPress.COM, which does the hosting for you).

  You are self-hosting; you downloaded the WordPress.ORG software and installed it on Siteground.

  These forums are only for people using WordPress.COM. So to get help for your AdSense issue, go over to the WordPress.ORG forums.
