My website can not be found

I have been working on my website and had it up and running until several hours ago. When I went back to check on it as I was linking it to my facebook page, I got an error message saying DNS name can not be found. I can’t find who has my domain name and my host (Go daddy) says it isn’t registered with them, but it looks as if it has been deleted!). Can anyone help pont me in the right direction, please?
