My website can't be found.

I paid to have my domain mapped to hookupcultures.com but when I go to this URL, it fails. Even when I type in hookupcultures.wordpress.com, nothing will come up. This happened right after I registered a domain and mapped it.

It appears as if you have purchased domain mapping here at WordPress.com, but haven’t registered the domain, hookupcultures.com.
Basically, you’ve set up your WordPress.com site to connect with a domain…but the domain doesn’t exist yet.
In order to do this, you’ll need to register the domain. Because you’ve already purchased mapping here, if you give me permission, I can disconnect the mapping and credit your account $13. That way, when you go to register/map your domain, it’ll cost an additional $5, since you’ve already paid a portion of the $18 fee.
Does this sound all right to you?
One I disconnect, you can go to the Store in your site’s Dashboard, and click to Add a Domain:
