My website, collagegoddess.com, loads very slowly.

  I have 3 sites here–2 websites and 1 blog: collagegoddess.com, picklecandy.com and cgartjournal.wordpress.com. The latter two load instantly but collage goddess loads slowly for some reason. That is going to be my primary business site and I’m afraid the lag will cause visitors to give up and leave the site. Is there something that can be done so that it loads as quickly as the others? Thank you.

  Hi there – collagegoddess.com loaded quite quickly for me – not noticeably longer than the other two sites.

  You are using custom Typekit fonts on collagegoddess.com, which may add a little bit of extra time, depending on your connection to typekit.com at the time the site is loaded. It’s possible that the connection to typekit.com from your location is slower than usual, but it’s not something we can control from this end.

  The customized font does seem to be the cause for the slowing down. I really did like that font but it was not worth it.

  You may want to check again over time. Many folks on WordPress.com use custom Typekit fonts successfully and the speed issue from your location is likely just temporary. Good luck!
