My website disappeared

    Again, you do not have a website hosted with us here at WordPress.com. We are just offering advice to try and be helpful. But as we have no access to your domain or site data, there is little we can do beyond that. We can only assist with sites that are hosted on our server.

    You will need to talk to your domain registrar and webhost for further help.

    Thank you. Can you explain to me how all of this works, I did have a website with WordPress, you are saying it wasn’t with wordpress.com but with wordpress.org? If I am understanding that correctly, how do I contact them?

    I think there’s some confusion here. There are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

    Your site was hosted on another hosting provider using the WordPress software.

    Also, WordPress.org is an open-source project and doesn’t provide any official support. They have public support forums where you can ask the general WordPress community for help, but for the most part, it’s supported by the hosting provider.

    I would go back to GoDaddy (where your domain is registered) and ask them for your nameserver history and have them change it back for you if you’re not sure how.

    My website got disappeared, my domain is still active but wordpress link is not working , who can help me on this issue?

    I am having the same issue… I’ve been trying to figure things out for over 24 hrs yet and have gotten nowhere. I hope you will have more luck than I do
