Hello dear wizards,

my website was on the first page of google search results,
then I added some pictures and made some changes here and there and now, after 10 days of being patient as google was digesting those changes, my site has totally disappeared from the results! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I searched for your site in Google, and it’s still listed in their search results:
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site:dharmadoreiki.com
WordPress.com can’t control how search engines rank your website in their results, but if you’d like to learn more about how Google sees your site you can use their Webmaster Tools. That can give you more information directly from Google about how they are ranking your website.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

I learnt so much about google thanks to one of you happiness engineers that I had managed to make that website reach the first results page, but now, searching with the same criteria, the website does not appear and I don’t know if there’s anything wrong with my latest updates…
-
search results go up and down – different search engines will return different results
I have checked some of my posts right after publishing – sometimes on front page the first day then nothing for a couple of days then back toward the top – – sometimes it seems to take a few days for new posts to settle down

My friends, I know it takes some time for google to acknowledge any changes made to one’s website, but after one month if I search I still don’t find the pages with their new address, only the old one, and if you click on those results you get to a “page not found” message.
An example:
new page not on google: http://dharmadoreiki.com/reiki-master-cagliari/
old page still on google: http://dharmadoreiki.com/alessandra-renoldi-cagliari/

For the page that is still in Google search results, you can request removal here:
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals
For the page not in Google yet (I believe it’s the same page with a different URL), I’m afraid we cannot control Google rankings. The page will eventually be indexed by Google. Unfortunately, we cannot control how quickly or where the page appears in search results.

It can take a few months for old posts and links to disappear, however Google Webmaster tools still show broken links from time to time 4 years after I moved here.
Seems it took around a year for some of the old directories to disappear from the errors list – that very bad experience is why I never delete a URL anymore –
